OINP Employer Stream

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) provides a chance for employers to attract and retain highly qualified foreign workers and eligible international students for permanent, full-time positions.

➔ Skilled Foreign Worker Program

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) presents an opportunity for skilled foreign workers who possess a job offer to reside and work permanently in Ontario. Individuals seeking nomination may only apply if they have obtained an approved permanent full-time job offer from an Ontario employer or a business that has made an approved and endorsed investment in Ontario.

➔ International Students Program

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) grants international students with a job offer the chance to live and work permanently in Ontario. Prospective nominees (the applicants) can only submit their application if they have received an approved permanent full-time job offer from an Ontario employer or a business that has made an approved and endorsed investment in Ontario.

This stream caters to skilled workers in specifically designated occupations, including agriculture, construction, trucking, and personal support services.

OINP Human Capital Stream

The OINP allow employers to hire foreign workers and international students. This program consist nominations for both the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) and the Ontario Express Entry.

This stream has four categories:

➔ International Masters Graduates

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) provides an opportunity for International Students who are master’s Graduates to reside and work permanently in Ontario.

➔ International PhD Graduates

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) offers an opportunity for International Students who are PhD Graduates to live and work permanently in Ontario.

➔ Ontario Express Entry: Human Capital Priorities

This stream allows the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) to nominate applicants who got accepted into Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s (CIC’s).

➔ Ontario Express Entry: French-Speaking Skilled Worker

The Ontario French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream is designed for French-speaking skilled workers who possess strong English language skills and wish to live and work permanently in Ontario. This stream enables OINP to nominate individuals who have met the qualifications for Citizenship.

➔ Skilled trades stream

Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream grant Ontario to target skilled trades  with relevant employment experience in an eligible trade, enabling them to settle permanently in Ontario through the Federal Express Entry system.

OINP Business Stream

This section is intended for seasoned entrepreneurs aiming to establish a new business or acquire an existing one within the province.

➔ Entrepreneur Stream

The Entrepreneur Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program is tailored to assist individuals from countries outside of Canada who wish to launch a new business venture or purchase an existing business in our province. This program provides entrepreneurs with the chance to be nominated for permanent residency once their new business is successfully set up in Ontario.

Eligibility Criteria for Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program

  • The profile must be included in the Express Entry Pool.
  • A job bank portal must be created for the profile.
  • The applicant’s occupation must be listed on the demand list.
  • The applicant’s lowest CRS score must be 400.

Process to apply for the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program

1. Check Eligibility
