This is the first Express Entry draw of the year. The category-based draws for Express Entry will persist, yet there is still much uncertainty about how these draws will evolve over the course of the year. 

Nevertheless, drawing from previous predictions from IRCC, we can expect a rise in selection draws for the French category, as well as the initiation of selections for the newly introduced "Physicians with Canadian work experience" category by IRCC.
