Express Entry Draw 397 | First Draw Under The New Category

On February 19, 2026, the latest Express Entry draw 397 issued 391 invitations to apply (ITAs) under the new category, the Physicians with Canadian work experience category, with the lowest comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 169. 

The historic draw signifies the initiation of the newly established physicians category, which was announced by Immigration Minister Lena Metlege Diab just a day before, thus making it one of the swiftest implementations of a category in the history of Express Entry.
