On December 23, 2025, Prince Edward Island invited 13 candidates through the province’s Labour Impact and Express Entry pathways. This marks the second unscheduled draw of the year. Candidates were selected exclusively for roles in occupations and priority sectors anticipated to positively influence PEI’s economy.

PEI Overview

This year, almost all of the 1,609 invitations distributed via the PEI PNP were through the Labour Impact and Express Entry pathways. Only one invitation was granted through the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur pathway.

In 2025, every province experienced a reduction in its nomination allocation by fifty percent, consistent with the permanent admissions figures outlined in Canada’s 2025-2027 Levels Plan. However, in 2026, the allocations for landings to provinces have significantly increased.
