South Australia issued 344 skilled migrants in the initial round of 2026

In the first round of its General Skilled Migration (GSM) program for 2025–26, South Australia issued a total of 344 invitations to skilled workers.


Among these, 235 candidates were invited under the Subclass 190 visa, which provides direct state-nominated permanent residency in Australia. Additionally, 109 candidates received invitations through the Subclass 491 visa, granting them legal rights to reside and work in Australia.
