The first British Columbia PNP draw issued 429 ITA’s
On February 04, 2026, the first British Columbia PNP held a Skills Immigration draw of the year and issued 429 invitations to apply for permanent residency.
Invitations were sent to candidates identified by the province as having a significant economic impact in BC, determined by their wage/job offer or registration score.
Let’s have a look at the detail of the British Columbia draw:
Invitations were extended based on two specific criteria aimed at attracting exceptional talent to the province. The first category included 206 candidates who fulfilled the high-wage threshold criteria.
Possessed a minimum wage offer of $70 per hour
Combined with a job offer in NOC TEER categories 0, 1, 2, or 3.
The second category comprised 223 candidates selected based on their scores in the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). The minimum score necessary for this points-based category was 138 points, which represented candidates with;
Education
Work experience
Language proficiency
Job offers that align with BC’s labour market needs.
