The First New Brunswick draw issued 379 ITAs
On January 13-15, 2026, New Brunswick conducted a series of draws and issued 379 invitations to apply through three streams. The names of the following streams are:
New Brunswick Express Entry Stream
New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream; and
New Brunswick Strategic Initiative Stream

Out of 379 invitations, 64% were issued under this New Brunswick Skilled Worker stream. Each stream has its own criteria to qualify.
To qualify for the New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream, you need;
To be living in New Brunswick for the last six months
Possess a full-time job and six months of work experience
New Brunswick Strategic Initiative Stream
This stream is for French-speaking foreign nationals with;
Work experience and a job offer,
Living in the province while working for a Canadian employer.
Graduated from a francophone university
To qualify for the New Brunswick Express Entry stream;
You need to live in New Brunswick for over a year
Currently working full-time and have a job offer
