Canada holds a major Canadian Experience Class (CEC) with 4,000 Invitations

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 4,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) under the Canadian Experience Class category, boosting chances for applicants who have already worked in Canada and are planning to transition from temporary to permanent residence. The draw has issued the largest number of invitations since March 2026, indicating strong demand for skilled professionals in the country.

The latest CEC draw has a CRS of 516, lower than the last draw's 518, indicating a consistent focus on including skilled and experienced workers in Canada who can contribute to the country’s economic goals.

What does the latest draw signify for immigrants?

Canada is actively focusing on retaining skilled individuals in the country, with increased issues for ITA under the Express Entry CEC draw. The latest draw is the largest CEC draw so far since March 31, 2026. Massive Invitations to Apply (ITA) directly correlate with the growth of opportunities to transition to Permanent residency and actively contribute to the employer and the country with skills and expertise.
