NLPNP Program
Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program
Potential immigrants with experience and in-demand talents have a road to immigration to Canada through the NLPNP—Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Programme. This province in eastern Canada’s Provincial Nominee Programme offers a number of immigration categories to accommodate a variety of immigrant applications. They are proposed by NLNP as permanent residents of the province.
There are two ways for people hoping to immigrate to Canada under the NLPNP to get the province of Newfoundland and Labrador to nominate them. The initial choice is to submit a direct application to the NLPNP without using the Express Entry Programme. The Immigration and Multiculturalism Office of Newfoundland will accept your application. If you are chosen, you can then specify that you have received a nomination from the province when you construct your online Express Entry profile. This can be accomplished by including in your Express Entry profile the nomination certificate number and the nominating jurisdiction.
The second approach is first setting up an online profile in the Express Entry system and formally expressing interest in immigrating to the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The applicant may then get the province’s NOI (Notification of Interest), which requests that they apply for its PNP. PNP can immediately contact profiles in Express Entry that match the qualifications required by the NLPNP to benefit the province.
The selected candidates’ formal nomination certificates are sent straight to the Express Entry system by NLPNP. To rapidly boost their CRS score in the Express Entry pool by 600 points, candidates just need to accept the same online. They are then eligible to get the ITA, or invitation to apply for a PR visa for Canada
